The Dallas Police Department held a promotional ceremony today, January 15, 2013. The ceremony was held at 10 am in the Donald A. Stafford Media Conference Room.
The welcome and introductions were given by Lt. Jerry C. Cockrell from the Personnel and Development Division. The invocation was given by Sgt. Phyllis Williams. Chief David. O. Brown presented the awards. The promotees are as follows:
Assistant Chief Brigitte M. Gassaway - Chief of Staff
Deputy Chief James S. Walton - Support Services Division
Major Jeffery F. Cotner - Crimes Against Person Division
Major Santos Cadena Jr - Community Relations Division
