The cycle of gun violence in America is only rivaled by the cycle of public outrage. Every time there's a mass shooting in the United States, the public demands tougher gun laws and every time, the outrage gives way to inaction. The cycle has been repeated from Newtown to Virginia Tech and Granada Hills to Orlando. As a result, Donna Dees-Thomases organized the largest protest against guns 16 years ago. This year, she's back at it, organizing a nationwide event next Sunday called The Concert Across America To End Gun Violence.
